New Volunteer Paperwork

Since the last e-newsletter there have been some revisions to the paperwork you are used to seeing so we thought we would go over what’s new.

First, our log sheets, that track the recording of files for each book, have been changed.

You’ll notice that that these log sheets now live inside the folder that follows the book through the entire recording process.  In addition to the log sheets you’ll also find the very important TIP SHEET, and the Status Report (for staff purposes) within the book’s folder.

The log sheets themselves have changed so that each new line of paperwork includes a space for the file name on the same line as the rest of the information for that file.  Also, the box requesting “last three words” has been deleted.  And finally, you’ll notice that below each line of paperwork is a grayed area that’s used by our checkers.

Also new in the studio is our volunteer feedback mechanism.  From now on, if you’ll look on the counter by the sign-up book, there’s a small upright file that’s separated by day-of-the-week.  Please look in the section that corresponds to the day you normally come to RFB&D and scan for any comments with your name.  Staff can review the issues that have been identified by our checkers and fixers.

THANKS STUDIO VOLUNTEERS!
